Meet Gray Chapman.
She’s a spunky ginger, a long-winded comma nerd, and a proud Cabbagetown resident with quite the appetite for high-quality, local eats. On any given day, odds are we can find her writing, eating or hugging puppies – sometimes even all three at once (lucky girl).
How’s she making her mark at Scoutmob?
Gray writes. A lot. Specifically, she writes the Local Content for Scoutmob’s local products in Atlanta. She gets to meet with our merchants, interview them and photograph their business on a day-to-day basis. Then she wraps it all up into a nifty little package that tells their story to our users. Best thing about her job? She gets to meet all different kinds of people each day, from do-gooders to even Fidel Castro’s former personal chef (seriously). Yes, dull moments run scarce in Gray’s life, that much is for certain.
When she’s not writing up a stache-tastic article, you’ll often find her out and about town, and occasionally whipping up a complicated cocktail just for fun (her Milk Punch is the stuff of legends, folks), going on hikes here and there, and teaching her dog, Jerry, new tricks (he gives a fierce double high-five).
Advice for future Mobsters? Besides the usual words of stick-to-itiveness, she recommends that you make as much an effort as possible to know your coworkers, because the people at Scoutmob are what makes this company awesome.
(And also, don’t ever put food on the metal table in the kitchen…’cause it’ll be gone in two shakes of a lamb’s tail.)
