We created our first iPhone app to better utilize our ever-present mobile devices in supporting the local businesses we all love. The good news is that app caught on with thousands of connected Atlantans very quickly. The bad news? When you have that many eager deal-users on the app, that app becomes super slow.

So we put our crack team of developers to the task of making a better Scoutmob app. They not only created an app that is WAY faster than the original, but now it comes with some pretty sweet bonus features. Like our new Scoutmob ‘Stache-cam. Teachable moment in all of this: you never know what you’ll get when you give developers a little extra room to play.
