  • Local businesses in Nashville love Scoutmob

It warms the cockles of our hearts to know that the work we do on behalf of local entrepreneurs makes a difference to the health of their business. From the horses’ mouth, get the perspective of several local business owners in Nashville:

General Manager of FISH & CO.

Scoutmob was an incredible experience! Over a six week period we did 20% more covers a night and it let us bring in a lot of new faces that have already been back! I loved being able to have control over creating the deals to fit our unique restaurant.

    Marketing Director of Pizza Perfect:

I was a fan of Scoutmob from the first time their representative presented it to me. I knew my clients, Pizza Perfect and Kay Bob’s would not be fans, because they do NOT like to discount food or offer coupons. Fortunately, I was able to convince them otherwise. Even though my client Pizza Perfect had won “Nashville’s Best Pizza” nearly ten times in twenty years, I found through market research there were still plenty of people who have not eaten at Pizza Perfect. When I explained this to the owners, they gave the thumbs-up.

Over the course of the Scoutmob deal, we had nearly 800 customers. Though I did no scientific tracking of repeat customers, our cashiers estimated that 40% - 45% of Scoutmobsters returned. When the owners of Pizza Perfect opened Kay Bob’s, we ran another deal as part of our opening. During the first five days, we had 250 Scoutmob redemptions. Besides being a great jump-start, I found Scoutmobsters to be very active on social media (leaving Kay Bob reviews on sites like Yelp and Urban Spoon).

Finally, Scoutmob branding ties directly into the “eat local” idea and true foodie/long-term customer my client is going after.

    Owner of Designer Renaissance:

We had $202.50 in discounts on the very first day and the people were just right! All said they would come back. Glad we did this.

    Owner of Goodbuy Girls Boutique:

We’ve been really satisfied with the our Scoutmob feature. It has kept our foot traffic steady throughout the entire week including Mondays through Wednesdays which are normally slower.

We have had several newcomers and lots of regulars. Many of the newbies have shared that they have wanted to come in anyways and the feature just gave them more of a reason to do it.

We have also learned that there are lots of GGs (their regular customers) that hadn’t heard of Scoutmob before our feature and downloaded the app accordingly. Overall it has increased our sales and foot traffic.

We really appreciate y’all giving us the opportunity to try something like this and it’s definitely something we would do again. We love Scoutmob!
