With so many different ways to get you out the door, we figured it’d be helpful to create this handy field guide to explain all the kinds of deals you’ll find on Scoutmob.com and the Scoutmob mobile app. Stay with me here; a few of these new-fangled deals are still hot ‘n’ fresh from the product oven.

Full App and Website Deal

Get 50% off places locals actually go, get it free, get it on your mobile phone. It’s as simple (and totally awesome) as that. A new locally-owned business is automatically loaded to the Scoutmob mobile app and spotlighted on Scoutmob.com each day. If you rather roll with text message or email deals, that’s cool; you have the opportunity to claim the discount via text message or email on regular deals the day it goes live. No need to give us your credit card information, any cash money, or your first-born child. Ever.

App-only Deals

Just as it sounds, some exclusive deals will only be available on the Scoutmob iPhone, Android and Blackberry app. Get the app and never miss one. App-only {and Pop-up} deals will occasionally be featured on Scoutmob.com, but users will not be able to claim them by text message or email.

Pop-up Deals

Like Bigfoot, special opportunities will only be showing themselves on occasion. These rare deals are exclusively for app users, and limited to specific dates and times. When valid, they will appear in the main deal queue. Be sure to check days and hours of availability so you know when you take advantage of these.

100% off

Someone once claimed there was no such thing as a free lunch. We don’t know who this joker is, because he clearly never met a 100% off Scoutmob deal. This is a good as it gets: completely free stuff.

Return Perks
